Change your thinking, change your life

Meet Dilys
Qualified BWRT therapist and hynotherapist
I worked in the creative industry (approximately 30 years), within branding, music, photography & interiors - which for me were always centred around people. Facilitating and enabling clients and colleagues to successfully achieve their goals. All the while providing support, encouragement and guidance.
As with so many of us, the pandemic left me at a crossroads, with time to consider how I really wanted to spend the next part of my life. It made perfect sense to merge my growing interest in psychology and hypnotherapy and evolve my client services skillset into personalised solution focused therapy.
I appreciate how tough life can be having hit a few humps in the road myself - some larger than others! Life sometimes seems to just happen to us. Be it through relationships, work, health or just managing to get up and deal with the day in a positive and confident way. Some periods are more challenging than others. These can result in stress, low mood, anxiety, insomnia, lack of confidence, diet and fitness issues. A whole host of problems contributing to a general feeling of unhappiness.
Your privacy and your path to being happier and coping with life are incredibly important to me - we are all worthy people and work to get on with our lives as best we can. We all want to be able to roll with the punches and cope better with the challenges of everyday life, and sometime it's hard to manage this on your own - this is where I can help you

Why Therapy?
It can help with

Anxiety & low mood
Anxiety can present itself in many forms - feelings of fear, lack of confidence, insomnia. So many of us suffer from it at some point. However its negative feelings can overtake us, and this is where solution focussed BWRT or hypnotherapy can help
Stress & panic attacks
Phobias & fears
Fear is our natural survival instinct. It lets us know when to look out to ourselves and loved ones.
When fear takes over and impacts on our lives, stopping us doing the things we enjoy, its gradually changing the fear to a phobia.
Life today can be stressful and whilst most of us seem to be able to factor in and deal with a certain amount of stress. If this stress becomes long term or chronic, it will start to damage us physically, emotionally and psychologically, making our day to day lives seem impossible to deal with

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Studies have shown that hypnotherapy is an effective treatment for IBS, with many people experiencing a complete resolution of their stress-related IBS symptoms. So if you're ready to take back control of your life, hypnotherapy for IBS is a great place to start
Weight loss
Are you over weight? Do you over eat, comfort eat or not take enough exercise? Unlike most other creatures, we humans not only eat for physical well being but also for emotional reasons. We have learned to use food to change uncomfortable feelings - to bury our emotions in food.
Also, high stress levels can cause weight gain.
Sleeping issues

Lack of sleep impacts on us in so many ways and if we don't get enough of the natural and restorative sleep, we are unable to function at our best

If you suffer from any of the above and feel it's time to embrace change, please contact me today to make an appointment.
BWRT or Hypnotherapy can help you learn to respond in more constructive and positive ways and start enjoying life.
